Unplanned Trip to Berjaya Hill

This is another trip to Berjaya Hill  (a.k.a. Colmar Tropicale)  where located after Genting from Kuala Lumpur direction. As this hill is  located at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, Malaysia. For me this place is not only a Resort, yet it is another place that allow you spend your weekends and far away from crowds and get fresh air away from the city. Other than that, there is golf club,french-themed village, Japanese village and etc.

From this signboard, I get to know the another name Colmar Tropicale - the hotel name.

I have the opportunity to visit this place as my friend bring me with sudden, so this is totally an unplanned trip. The special of this Resort is French-themed village, and there is a nick name for this Resort where is Little French in Malaysia. Other than French-themed village, there is Japanese village too as it driving distance around 5-10 minutes. As this place located on top of hill, so it quite test the  driver's driving skills.

French Themed village
Once you reach the French Themed village, you able to see the building like castle with a bridge and entrance. The colorful building made me cheerful and the surrounding is cover by green plant and hill views. Let you see the picture rather than I describe it.

At here breeze blowing and the air is cool yet the sun is still strong as low land.

At here there is arcade game shop, few restaurant, and souvenir shop. There is performance too as the schedule at night, but unfortunately I just been here for one day trip.

View from high building

Japanese village
As this village is located at another hill, there is shuttle bus to bring you from French village to Japanese village. At this Japanese village, there is spa, souvenir shop, and a house that for photography and rent Kimono for photography. From the worker I get to know that the display Japanese house is build by Japanese people that specially hire from Japan and it does not use any single nail to build the house.

This is the souvenir shop and it can say is department shop too as there is selling ice-cream and some Japanese food.

If you think of enjoy fresh cool air and peaceful environment, this place may be your choice if compare with Genting.

Tanjung Sepat One Day Trip

Today I had visit a place that I heard it for long time yet never been there. Yes, today I got this opportunity to visit this place where is Tanjung Sepat. Tanjung Sepat is a town in Kuala Langat district in Selangor west Malaysia. This town can consider agriculture industries as their primary

Before visit this place, I have did some research on this place. So I will share my experience rather share my findings. I start the journey at 9.00am from Salak (a small town near F1 circuit) and take around 45 minute reach he destination of my plan- Ganofarm (Mushroom & Lingzhi Farm)

The first place I visit is Ganofarm (Mushroom & Lingzhi Farm) (No2). In this place you may able to see how to cultivate of  "Lingzhi" and mushroom. The special of this farm/shop is it provide home stays service too. But for me only one day trip so I unable to share any thing on this. But I found one special food for me is the salted mushroom source. As the mushroom salted with chili sauces and come with 3 flavor if  I not mistaken. This salted mushroom sauce is a perfect match with rice or even eat together with maggie mee.

Another must visit place is the "Lover Bridge". This place actually is a jetty for the fisherman. How can this jetty know as "Lover Bridge"? And there is people say that because there is the hot spot for lover spending time there and people who walk on the jetty need to be holding hand (it's just a folklore) At there have many shop as sold souvenir and there is a restaurant there.

My next destination is Joo Fa Trading (No 4) This is a house that transformed as a coffee factory to cook the coffee bean. You may see the process of cook the coffee and the owner is quite sincere. For me this is a must visit shop as the coffee is very nice. I like the coffee very much.

In here we manage found a factory that process potato chips (No 3). This factory is located in a oil palm field and we loss without the guidance of GPS. The factory with a little shop like speed mart, e can buy some souvenir and for sure is potato chips - as it is production of potato chips. There is origin and spicy flavor for the potato chips. The price can said is reasonable as cheap few cent compare with other place.

Next, the Kuan Wellness ecopark is impress me as I never think that the bird nest business or bird nest house can make it as a point of interest. When you reach here you manage to learn and observe how they process the bird nest. For sure there is bird nest product selling here. This place is nice as it have many decoration for photo shooting but really sorry, I not good in shooting. And new attraction here is there is a small animal farm. You can feed the animal as rabbit, birds and fish.

Morib is the beach that most people will visit it as can consider a landmark of Sepang. When said of Morib beach, I will think of Morib Resort as there is only resort that located at the small town. I have no opportunity to overnight in this resort and wish there is an opportunity in future to overnight in this resort.

For sure we can easily get sea food here. There special food that I have tried today is the sea food "Bak Kut Teh". "Bak Kut Teh" once come across my mind is kind of soup that cook with herbs, spices and pork ribs, but some how I found "Bak Kut Teh" here is using sea food to cook this dish.

Most of the people may recommend you to visit the Asam Laut if you are craving for sea food. But unfortunately I have no opportunity to try out there as the shop is close. And I have read some blog and mention that this Asam Laut operation hours start from 6.00pm. So this place can be a good choice for dinner.

Another special food that I found in this town is "Pau". The "Hai Yew Heng" is located at 10 (refer to map). This shop perhaps too popular or too good business so that the shop keeper not really to entertain me as I visit the shop. The "Pau" for me is noting special but since you here why not get a try. You can see how they make the "Pau" as the "Pau" making kitchen is just in-front of the shop.

With 1 day of time, I manage to visit all this place with her I feel enrichment as she have to catch up the flight. So we leave there 5.30pm towards LCCT. One of the thing is we only manage to try out the "Bak Kut Teh" as lunch. Yet we have no luck to try the Asam Laut. Hope in future we manage to visit this place again and able to try out this Asam Laut.

There is a good thing i found is you can get this map from any POI shop counter or print out the map from here.
